Job overview
We are looking for an experienced ERP specialist / consultant in finance with a strong background in accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of our SAGE database, managing the deployment of new finance modules, including configuration, testing and user training. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and finance teams through seamless data integration and reporting.
Your tasks
- Database management: Perform comprehensive data maintenance and cleanup within the SAGE 100 database
- Data integration: Support within the bidirectional integration of third-party applications and play a crucial role within the data migration to Workday which is currently in the implementation phase
- Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Training & documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions for users including finance and operations teams; create user guides and process documentation
- Data analysis: Generate exports which can be used for further analysis by our controlling department•
- Optimisation: Provide recommendations for database improvements and optimizations to enhance system performance and user experience
Your qualifications
- Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Technical expertise: Proficiency in SQL and data management and ideally some experience with SAGE 100 software
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Communication & collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders
- Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, with a hands-on approach
