Your Mission:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the growth and success of AVIAREPS across the Benelux markets. Your focus will be both strategic and operational as you:

  • Develop Business: Oversee existing key aviation and tourism accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities and collaborations
  • Lead the Team: Motivate and develop your team, bringing out the best in each individual, and ensuring they have the support to succeed
  • Drive Financial Success: Manage budgets, profit and loss, and ensure cost efficiency while hitting financial targets
  • Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities in tourism-related sectors and represent AVIAREPS at key industry events to solidify our position as a market leader 

 

What Will You Do?

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of our Benelux operations, overseeing strategic direction, team performance, and client relationships. Your key responsibilities include:

Operational Leadership:

  • Implementing strategic initiatives to strengthen AVIAREPS’ position in the market
  • Identifying new market opportunities and ensuring a competitive edge
  • Maintaining operational excellence through innovation and process improvements

 Team Management:

  • Leading the local teams across Reservations, Tourism, and Sales, fostering a highperformance culture
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and coaching team members to achieve their best
  • Setting clear performance targets and conducting regular performance reviews

 Client Relations:

  • Cultivating strong, lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Develop tailored strategies to attract new clients and drive business growth
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to ensure the ongoing success of key accounts

 Financial Management: 

  • Managing the regional budget and ensuring cost efficiency
  • Regular financial reporting to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Identifying cost-saving initiatives and improving profitability

 Market Development & External Representation:

  • Networking with industry professionals and attending key events to expand AVIAREPS' presence
  • Representing AVIAREPS at conferences, seminars, and trade fairs
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high-quality standards

Selection Procedure

We believe in a comprehensive selection process to ensure we find the best fit for both you and AVIAREPS. The procedure will consist of the following steps:

  1. First Interview: An initial introductory meeting with HR to get to know each other and discuss the role
  2. Second Interview: A follow-up discussion with the EVP Europe, to delve deeper into your experience and vision
  3. Practical Assignment: You will be asked to prepare and present a practical assignment to the board, showcasing your strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
  4. Final External Assessment: A final assessment will be conducted to evaluate your skills, approach, and cultural fit

Location: This role covers the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Residency in the Netherlands (Hoofddorp) is required.
