International Director Cruise (m/f/d)
Location: Remote (Europe, preferably Germany/DACH, Netherlands/Benelux, Greece, Malta, Spain, or other European locations)

At AVIAREPS, we’re seeking an experienced International Director Cruise to elevate our global cruise offerings to new heights. In this role, you’ll be responsible for expanding our market presence across Europe and beyond. Your focus will be on developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships, driving sales, and expanding our cruise business with key international partners. What You’ll Do:
Lead Global Cruise Strategy:
- Define and implement the strategic direction for our global cruise business, ensuring growth and expansion in key markets
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future of the business
Develop Strong Client Partnerships:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with cruise operators, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders in Europe and international markets
- Foster collaboration and align our offerings with partners’ business goals and customer needs
Market Expansion & Sales Growth:
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities across regions, focusing on both B2B and B2C growth
- Promote the unique value propositions of our cruise products to drive market penetration and sales
Business Development & Cruise Line Partnerships:
- Proactively approach cruise lines to award AVIAREPS as their GSA/PSA, expanding our portfolio of clients
- Lead the business development efforts, from prospecting to implementation, mirroring the process of airline development within AVIAREPS
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and booking goals, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded
- Monitor performance and adapt strategies as needed to stay ahead of the market
Financial Oversight & Reporting:
- Oversee the financial planning and budgeting for cruise operations, ensuring profitability across regions
- Provide regular performance updates, market insights, and actionable recommendations to senior management
Industry Engagement & Networking:
- Represent AVIAREPS at key international industry events, conferences, and forums.
- Increase visibility in the market and build a strong network of relationships that will help drive future business success
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within the cruise or travel industry, with a proven track record in international business development and market expansion
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and implement innovative initiatives
- Proven experience in business development, especially in the context of GSA/PSA relationships and cruise line partnerships
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with high-level clients and partners
- In-depth knowledge of the cruise industry, market dynamics, and trends, with a strong focus on business development and sales
- Solid financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally to support business objectives and meet with partners
