Reservation Agent

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide support to passengers via phone, email, or in person, answering questions and providing information on flights, fares, and additional services.
• Reservations and Ticketing: Process reservations, ticket issuances, reissuances, and cancellations using the Sabre booking system.
• Quotes and Refunds: Prepare fare quotes, calculate refunds, and assist in resolving issues related to tickets.
• Support: Offer assistance and support to partner travel agencies/passengers  for bookings and ticket issuance.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Efficiently handle customer complaints and problems in accordance with airline policies. Present detailed information about available choices and help customers select the most suitable options.
• Team Support: Collaborate with the sales teams to provide necessary assistance.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, International Relations, or related Fields;
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an airline or travel agency, preferably in the check-in area or international reservations service.
• System Knowledge: Proven proficiency in booking systems like Sabre (mandatory);
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written - mandatory) - Spanish or other languages are a plus;
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, customer service skills, ability to work in a team and with multicultural clients;
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office programs.
