Sales Manager Aviation (Russian/Uzbek Speaker)

Based in Şişli, Istanbul, Turkey

 

AVIAREPS is looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Manager for the aviation sector. This role is for a new client of ours in the aviation industry, based in the heart of Şişli, Istanbul. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales efforts of our client in the region and strengthening their market presence. Fluency in both Russian and Uzbek is essential, as you will be a key link in managing relationships with partners in these regions.

 

Role Overview:

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the commercial objectives of our client in Turkey and surrounding markets. You will work closely with both the local team and the client’s head office to develop and implement sales strategies that increase revenue and market share. You will also provide reporting, analysis, and administrative support to ensure sales targets are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the client’s growth in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily and monthly sales reports and perform analysis on sales data
  • Provide in-depth reporting and insights to the client to optimize sales strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with business partners and clients, both over the phone and in person
  • Collaborate with the local management team and the client’s head office to ensure alignment on business goals and strategies
  • Prepare pricing sheets, benchmarks, and analyze competitive fares
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, business plans, and promotional activities
  • Generate route analysis and provide insights to capture new revenue opportunities
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks and project coordination

 

Core Skills & Experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification from a travel or aviation institution
  • Fluency in Russian and Uzbek, both written and spoken
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Excellent numeracy skills, with experience in Excel for data analysis

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial or sales-related role within the aviation industry or a similar sector
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with systems like Sabre, DDS, eSmash
  • Experience with customer relationship management and building long-term partner relationships
  • Knowledge of the aviation market and trends in the region is a plus
  • Experience in working in a team-oriented environment
