AVIAREPS to handle the airline’s sales, reservations and ticketing activities in France, Germany, the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Latvia

Effective April 2024, Surinam Airways, the national carrier of the Republic of Suriname appointed AVIAREPS as General Sales Agent in France, Germany, the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Latvia, expanding the partnership to a total of 11 markets worldwide. AVIAREPS, the world’s leading international representation, marketing and communications company for aviation, tourism, hospitality, and lifestyle brands, will support the airline with a full range of sales, reservations and ticketing services to support Surinam Airways’ growth in these markets.

Surinam Airways, established in 1962, operates regional and long-haul flights to the Caribbean, South America and Europe from its hub in Paramaribo. The government-owned airline currently connects Paramaribo and Amsterdam four times a week and offers regional flights to Aruba, Barbados, Brazil, Curacao, Guyana and Miami with connectivity to the rest of Europe, the Caribbean and South America.

AVIAREPS’ local aviation experts in the markets will provide the airlines with strategic sales services with the ultimate goal of increasing Surinam Airways’ brand awareness and ticket sales. AVIAREPS already represents the airline in the US and Canada and represented it in Europe until 2021. The reappointment in 9 markets in Western Europe is a confirmation of the successful business relationship and mutual trust.
