With immediate effect, the Indian carrier IndiGo appointed AVIAREPS as General Sales Agent in Spain, Switzerland and the Benelux countries, as well as in Serbia. AVIAREPS, the world’s leading international representation, marketing and communications company for aviation, tourism, hospitality, and food & beverage brands, will support the airline with a full range of sales, reservations and ticketing services to support IndiGo’s growth in these markets.
IndiGo, India’s biggest airline, is based in New Delhi at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Their fleet of 397 planes services multiple destinations in Asia. The low-cost carrier is expanding to Europe and added its first European destination to its route network in 2019. The airline received the “Airline of the Year” Award by CAPA – Centre for Aviation in 2024.
The partnership between AVIAREPS and IndiGo started in 2017, and with these new markets added to the previous representations in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia, AVIAREPS now represents IndiGo in 13 markets worldwide.
